not here to play games .......actually its pretty stupid to argue on a forum....but wtf, half of your posts are pointless and arent even speaking from experience....great you bought a set of type r's and love them, but its not the perfect subwoofer for everyone....i have a set to but am i on every single type r post preaching about how spectacular they are??..no....you also seem to talk out of your a$$ way too much(you work at an audio shop, your 152 score)..but either way im done arguing with you, so this will be my last post having to do with anything in this thread that we are arguing about......forget about everything and move on....was nice talking to you

Hmmm, not to jack the thread but I got a question here folks. I too was looking at the new Type R 12s but wasn't sure if they'd be worthwhile to get. If I'd get them, I'd get a pair of the 12s and run them off of a Tsunami DB1100.
How would a pair of 12s in rec enclosure compare to a single RE SX12 in a rec enclosure off of the same amp, DB1100?

The pair of R12s is comparable in price to the single SX12, so now I'm just debating what to do...

not at all....spkrman did a bunch of testing.....the r had the best output overall, do some searching on here and check it out.

Yeah, I'd defintly take the Type R over an SX anyday aswell. Not only can you get a Type R a hell of alot cheaper.. but I've also heard it has more output/sq
