The *OFFICIAL* first system thread

nakamichi cd45z (skipped like crazy) with two 6.5 infinity kappas and two alpine 4x6 somethings. one xtant 121m (i think) , an alpine V something and a little 10 kicker something.

I cant remember what models exactly as I was partying my *** off during those days and killed a couple of brain cells.

I dont really consider that my first system though as that title would go to my current system as it's the only one that I

really thought out and researched.

2 15" Rockford Fosgate old skewl Punch's, cones hand refurbed with spray lacquer

1 California A2400 amp, which NEVER NEVER NEVER would power up on a cold morning (lil ****er)

Dual chamber leaky sealed box (prefag) still have it too lol

Pioneer CD deck... Was pukepot sloppy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif Never will buy Pioneer again

And a cheap 8 awg kit put in by some chinese lookin dude that smelled like cinnamon. I eventually had to redo the wiring because he was rather sloppy.

(atleast 4years ago)

pioneer 6400

2 12" r/f punches

big ported box that barely fit in my 78 caprice(no idea on size or tuning lol)

mobile authority 900watts amp

stock speakers.

i miss the h/u, and the subs were loud as hell but really //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

My first "system" that could really be loosely considered as such was a Kenwood dual-shaft cassette receiver, a set of 3-way Pioneer 6.5" coaxials and a set of 3-way Pioneer 6x9s powered by a Roadmaster 7-band 'boostilizer' (yeah....I know) and a Kicker Super II (anyone remember those?) on a Yamaha two-channel amp.

Considering it was in a little bitty car...an '87 Nissan Sentra coupe, it sounded alright, I guess for a junior in high school's car who knew very little about systems at that point //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

That Kicker Super II actually pounded pretty well for what it was.
