the only coincidences you have an answer to are very small and at the bottom of the list.
I wont say it was an inside job but I am suspicious there is more to the picture than was told.
Either youre really skimming the posts or you cant put the obvious together.
But to me the theory is just to hear the full story.
You seem like a decent guy but I think you may be missing my point entirely. I am not
trying to refute the conspiracy theory points one by one. My entire point is that I don't
personally find it necessary.
Their basic premise --- that it was an inside job -- is so ridiculous that it does not peak my interest. So that is my starting point. From there I read (you are actually right, I skim) the "facts" that have been stated here and I see obvious lies that stick out like a sore thumb. This makes me even less likey to look into their claims than I was to start with.
For example, I don't care how many people
actually believe their theory. All I care about is that the conspiracy theorists method for arriving at that number is obviously screwed up. It makes them seem like even more of a joke --- and I thought their theory was whacked to begin with.
You say that you don't necessarily think that it was an inside job but there may be more to the story. Maybe there are things that have been covered up --- but when the conspiracy theorists start with the proposition that it was an inside job they absolutely
destroy their credibility. They become at best a comical curiosity. The majority of their intended audience is not going to hear what they are saying. But that is the conspiracy theorists' fault -- it is not the fault of the audience.
Furthermore, if one is going to take a position that is so dam unbelieveable on the front end then the proponent of that theory should make dam sure that he does not over reach with their evidence. The conspiracy theorists apparently do just the opposite --- they continue to argue points that they know or should know is false.
