everyone's gotta realize ( i did only cause im a criminal justice major)....that chart is a single day count for jail. Most people spend on average

Could the black's high crime rate also be attributed to the fact that blacks flock to the warmer south?

Higher population of blacks in the south + warmer climate (opportunity) = higher percentage of crime.

Lets just forget NY ever existed....

Not quite...we are working on more correlations as to why that is happening.

80% of Americans are white, 12% are black. And yet there are (almost) an equal number of whites and blacks in jail.
So yes, a larger percentage of blacks than whites are criminals. You fail.

Ok, I fail to see the point that the OP was trying to make.

So there's 17% more whites in jail than blacks, but yet theres 600% more whites than blacks in the country? So a far greater percentage of black people are in jail versus whites. Shouldn't that lead to a stereotype that blacks are involved in crime more often than whites?

Exactly. The rate of growth , to me is equal. This just means that before anyone can point fingers they should look at themselves. Blacks aren't any more criminal than whites...it's just more of you to balance out your census.
