ok, im moving to Pennsylvania here soon, and my parents want me out of their "family share" plan
i currently have Verizon and am debating changing. i rarely use my phone to make calls, 95% of it's use is text messaging.
if i stay with verizon, I already have a phone (old Motorola q), so i don't necessarily have to buy one now, although mines kind of on it's last leg.
the plan im looking at is $70 which is 400 anytime minutes, and unlimited text
If i go to cingular, the plan i'd want, is 400 anytime minutes and unlimited text as well for $60 a month, but i'd also have to buy a phone.
anyways, i've never really had any problems with verizon till recently, it's been getting kinda crappy.
alot of my friends have cingular and say it's awesome.
which would you go with and why?
Cliff notes:
-need a new cell phone plan
-verizon and cingular similarly priced, but if i went with Cingular i'd have to buy a new phone
-verizon has been shitty lately, go with cingular?
