You bring up a good point. If you click the chart, it gives you numbers. There are a lot more whites locked up than blacks.

It could be anything. The chart does not give much information than what you see there. My point is simply, that before you can judge the black race and say that they are criminals like I have seen on this forum, remember that there are just as many white criminals, if not more. It is to expel the stereotypes that our white members have against blacks. I guess it didn't work as the bigotry on this forum is too strong.

This chart doesn't say what you are wanting it to say, unfortunately.

An explanation for the bigotry of the forum is that it is a) acceptable and b) considered funny by others. However, the way I feel about it is if race a makes fun of race b, then race b should be able to make fun of race a.

That's true.

As a percentage of the their respective populations, more blacks are in jail than whites. This does not mean that blacks commit more crime. It means they are convicted and sentenced with jailtime more.

I don't know. I would need to know the black/white/hispanic population during those specific time periods.

This data set only compares YoY growth rates. It doesn't compare if the black population is incarcerated more or less.
