The next time you want to label blacks as criminals....

Flip hasn't stated anything to counteract viewed racial bigotry that is alive in the US. The point of my post. Apparantly you are too stupid to understand the thread. You should stay out of it.
I see the point of your post as being able to someday point the finger the other way, therefore continuing the racial bigotry in the US....just 180 from where you think it is currently.

I was there 4 months ago. My parents live there. I'm well aware of the cost of living in Maryland, not just MOCO. That's why I live in tampa. Calling Silver Spring a ghetto is absolutely ridiculous. Downtown silver spring is one of the most expensive places to live due to its proximity to DC. And yes, Potomac is easily the most expensive area in Maryland, but it's only a small part of montgomery county.
Silver Spring is the ghetto. Your statement just proved my point. MOCO is extremely expensive. The cost of housing is over 2x the cost of California's housing. You'll wonder how I know.

Are you really going to debate this with me? I lived just outside of Silver Spring for almost 20 years. You clearly have no idea what you're talking about. But I think we all knew that from the first post in this thread.

*Edit* Are you confusing Silver Spring with PG county? If so, that would make sense.

I guess I went to the wrong part of Silver Springs or I live in a place worse than the ghetto. I was there for a week and didn't think much about it at all.
Silver Spring is the ghetto of Mongomery County. If you see the rest of the county, you'll see what I mean.

So this means that you are the one who has no clue. Remember, I came from there as well. 37 years myself, and still have a house there.

I see. I was at Tunnel , it's a wind tunnel there. Used to be owned by the Navy, iirc.

That part of town wasn't bad at all. I wouldn't call "average america" ghetto just because it was surrounded by much nicer places.

I LIVED THERE FOR 20 YEARS! Silver Spring is NOT ghetto. I'm sure there are a couple neighborhoods that are below-par, but silver spring is a nice area. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stop talking about what you don't know.

PG County didn't get as bad as it is now until the DC Government started reforming SE. That drove all of the crazy poor people to PG...the neighboring county.

Compared to the rest of MC. Silver Spring is still the ghetto.

That's the thing! I know!

I think you two have a different definition of the word ghetto.
Okay, to clarify as it seems as though I'm insulting this guy.. It's not THE GHETTO, but more like a ghetto compared to the rest of the county. THE GHETTO in Maryland would be the Oxon Hill area and some parts of Laurel...both in PG County. Also Baltimore City.
