No. Not at all.
If you look at poor blacks and poor whites, the incarceration rates are similar...depending on the area. Some areas, poor blacks are still incarcerated at higher rates than poor whites, sometimes attributed to racist local judicial systems.

I'm glad someone admits it. That sheds a new light to my point, that people shouldn't have the generalization that black = criminal.

Can I also bring up that alot of blacks are incarcerated for failing to provide adequate child support? Hardly a crime that deserves time in prison. It doesn't help the situation.

Don't be retarded. I grew up in Montgomery county It is a wealthy county, but is far from the wealthiest in the United States. It's not even the wealthiest county in Maryland.

When was the last time you've been there? Have you seen the tax hikes that have gone through? Do you know the cost of living there? We aren't talking about Silver Spring, as that is the extreme ghetto of MC. Do you know that there has been alot of building in the past 10 years? Are we counting Potomac?

I was there 4 months ago. My parents live there. I'm well aware of the cost of living in Maryland, not just MOCO. That's why I live in tampa. Calling Silver Spring a ghetto is absolutely ridiculous. Downtown silver spring is one of the most expensive places to live due to its proximity to DC. And yes, Potomac is easily the most expensive area in Maryland, but it's only a small part of montgomery county.

Aren't they building a giant VA building in silver springs? We have a test facility there.
