I hope the new 15 type r goes to a 3" coil, or maybe they'll go crazy and go one up bigger.

but their website is updated, its just funny how it says 600 rms/ 1800 peak on right side of teh page, and then on the left cea says 500/1500

That was a Type-X motor in the posted picture... note the big copper piece that also goes across in the pole. That = Type-X

745i's? big piles of crap. Seats that never work, the idrive system that stinks, "leather" that is just of the worst quality, navigation units that fail always, i could go on, but the BMW 745i is just "crap". It does have a nice look to it however, but everything else stinks.

A lot of things on that sub don't add up to it's capabilities.

But that don't mean they aren't loud as balls, because they are.

With ~2000 watts my type-r 10" was less than a dB behind my 9510. Of course you couldn't feed that power to it all day long like you could with the DD, but for the price the type-r is still one of the best subs around, IMO.

Im not doubting them but that surround just looks scary, like the corners of square subs. = (

I have 2 type-r 10"s and i love em.... they hit real hard and the surround does hold up.... I have tones on my iPod and made the mistake of hitting shuffle.... 20ish htz at rage against the machine volume sent those things flapping and they didnt seam to mind a bit

Only reason for selling them is b/c a set of lvl4s will be on my door step tomorrow (insert temporary detour below)
