Sold The mysterious subwoofer thread

My brother gave these to me because he thought he fried both (but he didn't). I'm stumped as too what brand they are.

each is DVC 4 ohm.

3 voice coils read 3.8-4.0 ---- one voice coil reads .4 and alternates when the cone is pushed in and out . My brother gave them to me because they smoked in the back of his volvo (ported box, 1,500 watts RMS).

I think one has a blown coil and the other is fine. surrounds are scuffed, but they are loud raw drivers. I guess $125 + shipping for the pair?

yes indeed. they sold with a quickness and i had about 8 pms. someone got lucky i guess.

hmmm. the magnet appears much bigger on mine than the one on their website (theirs looks like a 15 but they dont make that). maybe someone reconed with a better motor on mine? also, the rms rating doesn't change between the regular and the pro (2'' VC Versus 3'' VC) ; somethings up with their website.

Perheps yours were an older model and those pictured are the newer model? I agree with you on all the above. also the surround seem's to be bigger. Either way correct company/product..Nie looking subs
