that odd. I always run into the greasy white people working at McDonalds. They would have done the same math if they had to refund change to me and although they speak english they say "what?" like 100 times. I repeat myself more than when I am speaking to a spanish person. And they screw up orders like crazy. I quit eating fast food junk completly now so it does not bother me anymore. But McDonalds, if you want someone to deal with english speaking customers, make sure they have a decent understanding of english.

I think you people need to expect that this is not going to change for a while. I speak english, and only english, but am learning german so that I can enjoy my trip there eventually. How many of you people have gone to the bahamas, or anywhere where english is not the native tounge? There is a double standard held that needs to go away. Americans are not king of the world, and english is not the language the world has chosen. Get over it, learn enough spanish to get by, and enjoy being a minority

I am pretty much the only person, other than the white manager, that truely knows how to interact with customers and knows what the fucks going on around there.

I disagree... If you are simply visiting another country, I could expect you to not know much of their language. But if you actually go to LIVE there, you should learn the language well enough to communicate and interact in society. If I went to Germany to live, I would not expect that I could just speak English everywhere and get somewhere, I would need to learn German in order to live comfortably in their society.
