It takes experience to design a horn loaded "style" enclosure.

You just cant throw pieces together.

I didn't have time to sketch out the folded horn design, there are other enclosures that will get as loud or louder at a peak frequency than the horn, vented, 4th order BP, but none will match the wide bandwidth gain of the horn over it's operating range.

Give be the max W,D,H you can spare in the car and I'll see if I can squeeze the horn in there.

thank you for your time, i was worried nobody was going to help.

if the horn is to be assembled out side of car max would be 33"x33"x21"(w,d,h)

if thats not good enough , the enclosure can be put togther in the drunk. theres alot more room if needed . i will measure again if thats the case. thanks again

im going to attempt to make a 8" solo barrac l5 sound like something hopefully alot bigger. i saw a video of two 6.5" speakers that pound like 2 12", 1 15",4 10" thats pretty phat. i have looked up the snailshell enclosures on the net, and found very little about how to make one. i know its not going to be easy any kind of input would be good thank you. i will upload pics as i begin the story of the little 8 that could.

i HAD two audiobahn 6's in a double shot............snailshells are for single subs only. then i switched them to two 6" eu 700's and got better results

box specs? all i know is its a nolte audio double shot. its almost like a horn with out the flared port. Its a box that has a really flat response and will get the lows really easy
