Got a few more things on the way today. 25ft of 10 awg OFC for the sub wiring. 50ft of 16 awg OFC for the mids and tweeters. Both runs are Sky High Car audio and are red/black. Got two SHCA 350a ANL fuses and two SHCA single ANL fuse holders. One just after the battery the other for just before the JP630 cap bank.

I also just purchased the SMD 3 slot fuse distribution block with grounding block, 3 pack of 200a ANL fuses, 3 pack of 80a ANL fuses, 3 pack of 60a ANL fuses. This will cover all three amps. I also ordered the GP audio Big 3 in Orange and black. OFC of course.

The ONLY thing "needed" after all of this is the H.O. alternator. She can wait though.

I am getting ready to upgrade the under hood battery. It's gonna be one of these two. Is there a reason I would get the XS Power over the Super Start? Is the XS Power really that much better? If I go with the XS I am getting M6 Brass Top post for it... you know, cause factory location. OR... save a little cash and get a still good AGM in the East Penn? $75 difference. Worth it?

I got the two single ANL fuse holders, both 350a fuses, the speaker wire and subwoofer wire today. Got the fuse holders with the red lettering because the Equinox has subtle red accents on the interior.

Oh I just realized... I will have no remote turn on for the system. I have the AudioControl ACX-BT1 that will be incorporated into the system as an imput source and it says it has a remote output of +12v/20MA. Is that enough to power the DSP and all three amplifiers?

Did some more reading and apparently the DSP has a remote out as well and is designed to turn on multiple devices. I guess I will be fine.

The sub enclosure should be here soon too!!!

I consolidated all my gear that I have so far in a large box. Cables, fuses, distribution and fuse blocks, speaker wires, interconnect cables, BT thing, body grommets, cable straps and so on. Just a few more things to arrive in the mail and I am starting this thing. I am tired of not having bass.

Thank you to Tyler @ Concept Enclosures. They had a model of enclosure that I liked with the right tuning and dimensions to fit the Equinox cargo area. I wanted subs up and ports to the rear. This is the enclosure they offered so I asked them to make the openings for the subs fit the Tropo XL 10's. We came to a good price and it got here quickly. I am MORE than pleased.

I'd like to put a floor under the box to better secure everything and use the empty section as the amp rack. Any tips on flush mounting using trim rings?
