I know earlier in the thread you said you didn't want welding cable but the Orange GPC wire is welding cable..
The place they get it from will print on the jacket what ever you like, I was gonna order some awhile back..

It's nice cable and will serve you well.

Yeah, the specs were so nice and I like the color that I folded lol. I am going to order an H.O. alternator powder coated in gloss orange as well.

Had to order another 50ft of 16awg ofc. I don't know why I thought 50ft was enough for 4 speakers and four runs from the back to the A-Pillars.

OMG!!! I have a sickness!!!! Since D4S is having a sale I bought the D4S EZY DSP68+ and the controller. Yes, I know I have a dsp in the AC DM-608 but why not!! lol. The DSP is on sale for $237.15 and the EZY - Controller 1 for $67.99.

Just spent 2 hours trying to figure out what color my Equinox is. Paint code in the glove box (same VIN) says Evolution Blue Metallic. Odd, my car is more of a green/grey color. Kept digging. The 2011 Cadillac CTS with the exact same color as my Equinox has the same paint code. It is call Evolution GREEN Metallic. Kept digging. Turns out they called this same color like 4 different names and it is the same paint code. Depending on angle of the light the paint can appear blue/grey and other angles green/grey. I am going to go with the Cadillac color as it is spot on. Evolution Green Metallic. U 718S GGU.

So I bolted the box down. I elevated port side of the enclosure about 3 inches so it is level and used those brackets to hold the enclosure up and a screwin I went. It ain't movin. The amp board is at an angle so I can hide cables and wires. I am going to bracket that to the floor as well in about an hour. The amp is centered and mounted. I am not sure where I want the DSP. Perhaps vertical on the C-Pillar. That will have the BT antenna facing the front of the car unobstructed.

Since I have a GDI engine the PCV blows some oil into the intake. We gonna fix that!

I finally located the factory amplifier under the dash in the Equinox. This will make it much easier to grab the speaker wires to tap into from the JP77 to the front doors where I will be running the Earthquake shallow 6.5" subs as midbass. I am starting to think this stereo may be much louder than my maroon G6.

I was looking around in all my boxes for my blue 18awg remote wire and couldn't find it. Not in storage, not in the car, not in my stereo stuff in the house. I started checking all my online purchases... nope, I made no remote wire purchases. So, I have 50ft of 18awg ofc blue remote wire coming and 5 piggy back fuse wires. I would still like the system to shut off when I turn off the key so I located the factory amplifier 30a fuse and I will tap that. All I am turning on is the JP77 and the DSP I believe.

I washed the Equinox yesterday with plans to install the Earthquake Sounds midbass in the doors. It's raining.

I am still installing it. No power to anything yet. Waiting on time to finish it. Yes, custom speaker pods. Good people there.
