not if your tv is an HDTV, it has an internal ATSC tuner

go to menu and rescan for you channels, then you will see that some channels are HD....if you havent seen them already

most stations have been broadcasting in HD for awhile now...

Yea its the DLP LED. Rated to 60000 hrs... I have 3 other LCD's but this TV is freaking off the hook. Its as good as anything I have ever seen no matter what size of screen.

60k hours on the bulb, or the unit...

60k hours - 20.5 years @ 8 hours a day, every day

or on almost 7 years straight.

Yea since its an Led its rated for 60K hrs of use or like 20 yrs. That does not matter though in a few more yrs I will move into the laser tv's. My other DLP had to had the bulb replaced after 3500-4000 hrs...
