Biggest reason is cost. We got a pretty killer deal on the black cherries. The bank of 15 will be much more stable compared to a smaller amount of lithiums for the same cost. If we were going to spend more, lithium would have definitely been a solid choice. Banks of caps were also in our minds, but we won't be charging high enough to take full advantage of caps.

I've been running JB batts for over three years now. Love 'em to death. Kevin is a good guy to work with, which is probably the biggest reason why I stick with JB.

Finished up the kerf pieces and added / flattened the roof up in preparation for the top port piece. The roof is stout, but not yet finished. The enclosure is starting to take shape.

Got a lot of updates for the AlphaBlazer...

The floor and sides are nearly 100% complete. They need some sanding and love before we can call it good.

Got another roof piece in to make it about 3" thick across the entire roof. It is beyond stout. Double layer of deadener, 1/4" wood to level, and then three sheets of 3/4" across the whole roof.
