The big 3 just don't get it, nobody wants American cars.

I didn't think one could collect unemployment like that here...them contractors where out there in the snow...I wouldn't want to do that.

I would strongly suggest he try to find someone to buy that annuity from him.
Want to and have to are two totally different things. I will clean a septic tank if it is the only thing I can find to do to put food on the table:crap:

We are a nation of wants, not needs. That needs to change a bit for us to become strong again.

You think so, why? Just because or any specific reasoning? I do admit, I like their lineup and adoption of hybrid techonologies. And that they do't make the same car under 38437483479374 different names.
Pretty much what you said. I honestly like all their vehicles.

i can agree on that one for sure. They could've at least flown together in one jet, not all on their own private jet. I mean come on, that's almost admitting to pissing away money. Somebody mumbled a rumor that they would agree to making a dollar a day?!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif i don't care, the multi millions they have been making in salary per year for the past who knows how long, seriously.
Shit Wagoner should've rode in on an Impala, Mullaly a Fusion, and Nardelli a Avenger.

Hey Lug,

At the end of the day, I feel for your father, and your situation in MI. I pray to God that Obama can find wisdom and do some good and not hurt us any more that we are already.

God bless guys

He has a lot of money misered away somewhere. His parents lived through the depression and passed a long the thriftyness to him. He won't invest or take any risks. he's the type where we'll find a huge stash of cash in the house once he's dead. He's set in his ways.

i see

I guess I am caught. I thank God I don't have too.

Not a fan of the escape, but that is because i don't need it. I do see the need for the car in the lineup.

That....now that would have been a smart move. Logistical nightmare, but a very, very smart move. +1 rep for that one.

Iwas watching the Auto Bailout Hearing on CNN and HFS is really ripping these CEOs a new one, . These guys have no plan for a chapter 7 or 11, expecting this 25billion to be loaned to them. Also the CEOs are not willing to take pay cuts to help there business. There claims of having more fuel economic cars than there competetion may be true but the fact is, no one wants a American car(s). People rather spend a few thousand more on a Japanese counterpart. I know I'm part of the millions who rather buy a Accord or Altima over a Malibu or Taurus. I rather buy a 350z or s2000 over a Mustang or Saturn Sky.
Also American small cars are a joke, Focus? Cobalt and that Dodge crossover thinga majig, . Seriously, these guys deserve to fail, nobody wants that garbage. While my local Nissan and Toyota make that money, the Ford across the street is stale, dust in the office and not a phone rang for hours. American cars are not the future as the big 3 so think.
are you on NT?

this exact same post was made, with the exact same words //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

you know little..........and your opinon is one sided...I never want to own an imported SUV or pick up truck - I dislike Jap lux cars and prefer German lux cars,German PWN all others and I own a 08 mustangGT and it will **** up any jap sports car...

I drove the Malibu and was quite impressed,it beats the heck out of an Altima which is the biggest POS I have ever drove

Also note, why you never see older jap cars on the road? but see plenty of American old cars on the road - cause the jap cars rot out faster

now STFU

The big three are run by morons in suits and they deserve no hand outs

especially since they build half thier inventory in mexico and canada...

then fly to the government hand out meeting in there private jets at 20K per trip

bankruptsy is the best option, they wont go under now and they can get away from the unions .........Unions have ruined the auto industry

Actually I do see a lot more older imports on the road I drive a 12 year old import daily driver, now what you do see more of are older mustangs, that is because people believe that all of them are classics and they will sink any amount of money into their "babies" to keep them running, how many older non sports/muscle car do you see, almost none, except Lincolns which were really decommissioned M24 tanks.

I wasn't trying to compare them, at the end of the day nothing will change so i'm not to worried about it. I think GM is #1 in the world still anyway
maybe in the world you live in //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Dude..i mentioned german too..

I can go outside right now and take a photo of every car on a 4 block radius and they'll be more imports than domestics..

He lives in Tennessee, like me.

The import/domestic ratio is cultural. The only people I see buying foreign trucks are people who are new to the truck scene...

Even with cars, in the south, I believe there are more domestics than foreign.

define domestic and foreign. What is build where:crazy://content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif

Domestic will always be the Big 3, even though Toyota and Honda have factories here.
because of the name?

I mean the Nissan Titan is build right here in Tennessee, with good lold redneck labor. That to me is more domestic than a Ford made in Mexico.

We need to drop the global prospective on certain items and use our common sense, Keep America working first, then help the world. We can't all work in the Medical and Insurance industries.
