The best system for around $900?

I have about $900 to spend on a subwoofer system. The only thing I am set on getting is the Pioneer Premier DEH-MP7700P headunit that will cost me $200 so I have about $700 left. I listen to mostly rap and a little rock such as pearl jam, korn, limp biskit, nirvana,metallica, etc. I think that 2 12's would be my best option or possibly 1 12" kicker l5 or l7. I do not want o build my own box unleess I can get detailed specs because I would like a ported box rather then a sealed one.

this sytem will be going into a 1999 Nissan Maxima with stock speakers(not bose thank god)!

So what all do I need? Is this it:

Headunit-$200

Amp-

Subs-

Wiring kit-

Dynamat-

Box-

Do I really need a capicitor? If I can get by without one I would much rather.

Amp- jbl 1200.1 - 230

sub- 12" mag d2 -220

wiring kit- welding supple get however much u need then find some rcs somwhere

deadening- Raamatt instead of dynamat(dynamat is over priced)

box- can you build it yourself?

I have never heard of that sub before. I have listened to a few and really like the sound of 2 12" kappa perfect 12.1's, polk audio db124's, and kicker 12" L5. How do these compare?

kappas sounds awesome but dont get as loud as Mags do, but the kapps sq is right on par with the mag. The mag should get louder in a well built enclosure

u could purchase a wiring kit at wallmart for 25 bucks just tryin to help ya save money thats what i have and it has worked awesome for me..

I bought this wiring kit back in the day -scosche- 4 guage wiring kit - pretty nice shit at the time for $20
