there is no best sub.. any sub can out perform any other sub on any given day...

the MT takes 2500+ watts to get as loud as it is.. does that mean a 300rms sub that doesn't get as loud isn't as good? no... it just means they are designed for different apps... IMO, there can be "the BEST" SQ driver, but there is no BEST spl driver... any sub can get loud if you throw 3billion watts at it...

so if best in your opinion means "can take the most power before failing" then i suppose the jackhammer would take the cake...

I hate that statement... because that isn't necessarily true... sometimes making "cheaper" equipment perform the way you want is more beneficial than buying the best to be the best... Anyone can spend money, but not many people can take "average" equipment and Make it impressive...

i didn't say loudest, i said can handle the most power... stick that jackhammer in a 2 cubic foot sealed box after displacements and any 15" sub will pwn it...

you are missing the point, subs can only perform to there maximum capability when every single advantage is utilized

This is a joke right? Who would actually want a sub that weighs 350 lbs? Hell, it doubles my weight.
