Fi Q15/RL-P 15/TC9 15 are all cheaper and have much higher displacement capabilities. The drivers specifications shape its specific response, which is what most people equate to sound quality (they prefer a boomy low-end, exaggerated top-end, flat response, or extreme low-end). These are all characteristics of the specific response, which you can easily shape with electronic equalization and/or motion feedback.
For me, a subwoofer with an incredibly power motor (loads of neodymium), linear voice coil, a tight suspension, and super lightweight cone would equate to the best reproduction of audio with electronic equalization:naughty: //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif ...without it would probably sound like a one-note SPL woofer.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
