The 15" Q switchout is DONE

Hmmm...

Well, as most of you know you have read my previous post's when I put in 2 15" Q's off RE 12.1. And they kicked ***....BUT, they didn't have the low end extension I was expecting from these.

So here they are, 2 more, 15" Q's just to make sure that everything is correct with the drivers. Me and Scott figured there was a possible machining error with the others, wich was causing the performance I was getting.

I have to say.......not really a difference:crap:

Late Night Tip- Everyone should know the bass notes on this track....and if you do, you know the LAST note, the LOW note. Well, again, these babies kick *** in the higher range, they hit the first two notes like a champ. But the last note lacks.

I played frequencies, and I am pretty sure 20-23hz didnt shake my truck as much as it does, soooooooo...there may be something there.

But still, the low-end is not where the "SHINE" is, its the higher range. 33hz+

Still great drivers...........//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif

hmmm....well, fack you for making my decision more difficult....

I hope this is an install specific issue.

Do you think a sealed box would help with the low end?

Maybe I should look more at the RL-p as that is the only sub 300 SQL driver around.

These are great drivers keep in mind. I dont want it too look like I'm bashing anything. Just some things I expected weren't there. Who knows, maybe I'm just a huge bass head, and maybe Ryan A is too, and Ray.

yeah but 'late night tip' to me is showoff your system type of song. Not for waking folks up at night but to see how it performs at the lower end of frequency. It not performing well here makes me question if it is the right purchase for me.

hmm........let me see something

i see if i can design something that peaks high from 35hz and lower

80

just designed some fi q10 and had it peaking 10.1db's at 35hz:up2somet:

u guys should see a review hopefully within a week

Ill be trying a set of SSD 10s ported pretty soon. I let everyone know how they do on the lows.
Well in my first box. 2 12 ssds 4.5 cubes and tuned to 33 its does not hit the lows its not bad but i think it can be a lot better. But im going to see on the second box 5.2cuft tuned to 30Hz and we will see how that goes.
