i had a 98 cobra with a borla cat back system and a bassani x-pipe. that sound was ridiculous. much other stuff on the motor, but as far as the exhaust goes, thats what it was.

Mustangs do have a distinct sound. This is what I have on mine and I absolutely love it. I've got a 5.0 with Mac headers, Mac Pro-Chamber with no cats, and Mac exhuast. Sometimes I wish I was outside listening and not driving the thing.

i'm a Chevy guy, check out my Camaro post lol, but the Mustang is definitely a better sounding car IMO. they sound so wicked with the right exhaust

Thank Ford for their lovely valve angle. The Flowmaster sounds the same on every Mustang, yet every other car with a Flow sounds nothing like a Mustang. I went through 6 different exhaust setups on my Cobra in 4 weeks, but eventually ended up going back to and O.R. H-pipe and 2 chambers.
