If your argument against an assault rifle ban is so you can have the weapon to some day shoot at the government, its not going to fly well with people in the government making the laws...

You uh...quoted yourself? lol And I didn't write the constitution. Thats why they put it in there though. I'm not saying I would ever have the heart to shoot anybody. But they wanted to make sure we had the right to bare arms to make sure the Government wouldn't overthrow us!

I think bans are wrong, but I also think owning guns to protect yourself from the government is wrong or maybe just stupid. If the gov comes knocking on your door asking for you to surrender your weapon you **** sure better. One guy can have all the guns in the world and as soon as the military shows up at your doorstep you just became target practice.
So you don't really need a gun to protect yourself from the government...

If there is an uprising caused by our current crisis (declining everyday) and marshal law is enacted it won't take long for the military to figure out that shooting their own citizens for the sake of the government is wrong. Then the pawns that the government thought they had in the military will turn their guns in different direction. The military will not destroy their own people.

I think that this is pretty far fetched, I think using that as reasoning to debate an assault weapons ban with legislators is even further far fetched

US has the crime rate almost 14 times more of that in Central and Western Europe. Why is that? You have guns in US, Central Europe they dont have guns.

But I will tell you, weather you are allowed to have guns or not has nothing to do with the crime rate. So a high crime rate in US is not because you have guns. Crime rate depends on the standard of living - lower standard of living = higher crime rate. Hence why you have more crime in the hood than u do in the hills. Works the same all over the world.

Crime rate in russia is more than 2 times that of US. In both countries you can posses guns. So why such discrepancy in crime rate? The answer is easy, Russia is MUCH more ghetto than US.

I get that too. But I agree on that point. A full auto weapon has had a ban on it since I believe 1964 or in the area and is just fine. It didn't pop up again until the extreme idiotic liberals brought it back around Clinton's era. Now of course they want to ban more guns, thats why we need to stop them here before they just keep pushing to take more and more away from us.

first off its not a true assault weapon. Its a semi automatic just like a pistol or even a rifle. It just has a bigger clip.

I don't feel there is a need for a full auto gun. Like I stated before. First, if you need a full auto to hunt you **** at shooting. Second, you can't use them for target shooting because they are more inaccurate cause of rise, heat, etc. and Lastly, if you own a full auto gun chances are your not going to be using it for the above two statements. It'll be used probably for something else.....

To your second question Human nature has proven in both ways. So I can say that Hitler had a rising and had the people agree w/ him out of fear, etc. Which most of the times thats where everything stems from. And with that question then do you believe Obama was a bad choice for our country cause he was our majority vote?
