Anyone here used a resistor pack to test the ideal wattage/wattage of amps at rated numbers?
Looking into doing this to ensure no overloading subs, maximizing rms to systems, ensuring amps operation etc. but not sure how many watts I need the resistors to be rated for.
Anything over 100w of resistor is hard to find, but due to the small amount of necessary test time to set gain, would it be possible to use a few hundred watts of resistors to set gain into 2-3k watts? So long as the test time was short and the resistors were kept cooled.
