testing amp with volt meter

i do know its not the gain because it was working fine yesterday. i have been playing with he rca's at the amp. and can finagle them and make the sub hit. now i have to figure out if it is the cables or if its the rca input terminals on the amp.

ok, i took the sub off bridge and put it on the left and or the right channel and the sub works. its when the amp is bridged the sub doesnt work. blown amp? i may have to take the sub out of the box and make sure for some weird reason the bannana jumpers wiring the sub to 2 ohm have not come loose or come out.

alright it is the sub pre amp outputs from the hu. i un hooked the rca's and plugged them into the rear rca's and things are loud once again. now i wonder whats up with the sub pre amps?

uhhhh.... dont listen to him
Just follow the gain setting tutorial, dont play music. Use a test tone so u can set the gain right. Also make sure ur + on the sub terminal isn't connected to the speaker wire.
why cant you have the subs hooked up? There shouldn't be any difference.
