the new 'gto' is just a pontiac grand am with a big engine and a similar yet different exterior.

i make 8-10k a summer from working in a nightclub....in case you guys were wondering

summer = 3 months

3 months = 12 weeks

12 weeks = 90 days

10000 / 90 = 111 dollars per day, an average night club shift is 6-3 for a bouncer .. thats 9 hours,

so if he works every day of the summer for 9 hours a day his average is about 12 bucks an hour ..

and that is working 63 hours a week ..

Completely plausible for a door man..

I kinda wanna get a old school Diesel Jetta and convert it to consume Vegetable Oil. It's $.25 cents less than normal Diesel and you can get like 60 mpg or some ish like that.

I've read you can get about 60mpg with the new diesels too, maybe it was 50 something, either way that's still pretty good.

the gto is a rebadged/minutely altered monaro, which has actually been around since '68..so no, just because they re-styled the grill to look like everyother pontiac vehicle doesnt mean its a grand am with a big engine..

GTO > all other cars mentioned in this thread if you don't care about gas mileage. I would like to get one myself someday and just use it occasionally on the weekends and really nice days. Would probably be my pick out of any off the current gen 'muscle' cars out there.
