temporarily set up axis?

I temporarily set up re axis to an mtx 1501d elite amp. When we hook up my friends tc 3000 on that it can reach max excursion very easily. When we hooked up the axis it would slam but it was not traveling as easy. Also the enclosure is 3.7 cubes tuned to 30 hz with 38inches of square port . When it hit the lows it sounded like the port was too small. Thilo told me to build that exact enclosure. Soon I will hook the sub to a aq2200d.
