I wouldn't try it...I didn't...The wire for those knobs is actually a bunch of smaller wires in the larger black insulation...They are incredibly thin(only a few strands of copper each) and hard to deal with. Not even close to worth it. I'd paint the indicator light black before that....

But I do have two bass knobs and wires so its worth a shot. If I email DJ do you think he could tell me which wire is the remote?

I don't see why not. I'm not sure if there might even be a separate wire for the indicators since the clipping indicator is obviously separate. Why do you want the toggle for the knobs? It'd be MUCH easier...and I think better...to put the amp's remote wire on toggles, then you can turn them on/off individually and the bass knobs will turn on/off accordingly.

I want to be able to turn the knobs off and leave the amps on. Without the knobs the amp is set as if the knobs are at max which is just fine. I can control that with the sub level on my HU.

Thanks it turned out a lot better than I had expected since it was my first time working with either fiberglass or bondo.
