Just a temp install until the carpet and second skin roller come in.

Alpine cda-9886

2 AQ2200's strapped at 2 ohms

2 12" AQ hdc3-A's

1 AQ 4x90

2 sets of AQ components (not yet installed)

2 optima d321t's

1 optima 34/78

270 amp mechman alt

4 runs of 1/0 Knu KLMX Kable (around 80ft total)

Big 3 done in 2/0 welding wire

seal it off, get the amps off the box so they dont rattle apart, or put rubber bumpers under them to absorb the vibrations... other than that nice aq motif you have going //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Clean up the wires a bit in the back though.
Was thinkin this, but you called it a temp install so I figured you already have intentions of doing this..On another note, pretty amps and subs :) gotta love how good AQ equipment looks.

Oh yeah, didn't notice the "temp" part either. In that case, good stuff.

Thanks guys, in the next week or two I plan on making two amp racks on the left and right side of the box so the amps aren't rattled to pieces. I have a trunk pack of damplifier pro as well. Batteries will be covered too.

Please let me know how the AQ comps end up sounding.
I too would like to know how these are.. Considering the quality of other AQ products I would imagine they have to be pretty good.. and $199 is a nice price for a pair of 6.5" components, especially if they're as good as the rest of their products :)

Yea when I bought the comps I knew I was going into uncharted territory lol 2 in each door should do the job though. This will be my first time fiber glassing.

Carpet should be here in a couple of days and its supposed to be around 75 Friday. Perfect weather to do some deadening.

Should have some more updates tonight.

Carpet arrived yesterday and I had someone fab me up a roller out of metal and some bearings so I can install some second skin.

I plan on also getting the door panels off, modded, and masked off for the fiberglass.

Got a little bit done today.

Will have more pics tomorrow.

Put second skin on the trunk lid, rear deck, and a little on the floor. Also got the box carpeted with black carpet. The carpet matches the subs and amp very well.

Tomorrow I'll put in some work on prepping the doors for the pods.
