RL-i 12

Atlas 12

ED 11Ov.2

RE 12SE

they are all priced reasonably between eachother at around 170 give or take some...

im planning 2 12's in the near future and these are most likely my top choices (unless you guys can give in some info on better models out there for the money...plz do so)

i know all these are great products, but i want to know...whats going to have the better quality, durability, performance, etc of the four?

just give some +/- of each and say which you'd choose from.

thnx

if you want the rl-i's id call them first or ask soundsplinter here heard something about them not sure if it was the 10 or both. the atlas is a pretty clean woofer (i own one) as to compare it to the others i would say it take less power than the ss or re to get it going good .

all will have great sq, atlas will prolly be the best in sq. the SE will prolly be loudest.

if i were you i would spend a little extra and get the RL-p, would be worth it.

are the RL-p series that much better over the RL-i?

and RL-p>Atlas in your opinion?

im leaning toward the Atlas (and now the RL-p, but ima have to save a little more), unless some1 can chip in a better sub for the price

thanks for the quick responses, keep em coming

sq between the rl-p and rl-i should be very comparable, but the rl-p has much greater power handling with about 6 or 7 mm more xmax. Basically, they'll both sound awesome but the rl-p will get louder.

I heard a trio of atlas' and was impressed with the sq though it wasnt the loudest setup considering there were 3. A lot of complaints about the atlas is that they dont get that loud, which is true. They were designed for sq not spl so dont expect them to scream. I'd go rl-i over the atlas any day, but then again im an ss fan boy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

is the extra 50$/sub worth it for the RL-p over the RL-i?

and are 2 of these guna be shaking the car?

and i see you got the nine.1 in your sig, you have any experience with it? likes/dislikes?

also...

i plan to pump around 500-550w through each sub...so which would be most applicable for that situation?

RL-p (if i decide to throught the extra cash for that series instead of the i)? or even the Se12?
