Teh Gossamer is no more!!! *cries*

I needs more cowbell...and....22s man...22s lol
It will get audio done and an alarm long before I concern myself with unnecessary exterior cosmetics. The stock chrome 17s, while no show-stoppers by any means, aren't tragic-looking and tires would be much cheaper for those than any 22s! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

RIP little GEO...The '95 we sold to my aunt is still running strong with 250k miles.
I'll imagine that your aunt doesn't drive hers near as hard as I dogged Gossamer. Almost 100K of the miles on Gossamer were delivering pizza. Thankfully I won't be doing that anymore...

my family owns a 96 geo. 4 door / auto. power nothing. I swear to god, that car is unbreakable. We bought it as a salvage (flood car) with like 20k. It now has 190k and was the learner car for myself and my 3 sisters. It has been rear ended, side swiped by white trash neighbors and beat upon by all. This car still has the BEST AC out of the 6 cars we own, best on gas, and never broken down on us. Original starter, alt, water pump. Sorry to hear that your died. Mine has been on the way out for quite some time.

Sucks, but at least you got 200k out of it.
When considering what I actually had invested in the little car I well got my money's worth out of it during the years I owned it. I'm sad to see it go but I'm also glad to have something I can actually truly get comfortable in while driving.

One notable absence in the new ride - there is no compact temporary spare tire thankfully. There is a fifth full-size tire and wheel mounted underneath the rear end typical to the manner in which spares are mounted for pickups.

Okay, install gurus....where's a good source for the stupid cable I'm going to need so that I can put an aftermarket HU in this thing and still have my door dingers and whatever else is affected by removing the OEM deck remain operational?

Crutchfield has them for $100 so I know they've got to be available cheaper elsewhere...

Well damn that sucks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

My wife is driving an 04 model of the envoy. Just the base model one. The audio is well.....crap.

screw buying a 100+ dollar harness, just relocate stock headunit under the seat or something and then put aftermarket one in FTW

Prowler, I am sorry to hear about teh Gossemer.

I am, however, glad that you have a new girlfriend type. lol

I just recently purchased a Trailblazer myself and it is an amazing ride. Your Envoy is on the same platform.

All the cool kids hang out at http://www.trailvoy.com.

I dont post much(8) but there is a plethora of info.

Out of curiosity...have you tried getting the spare out and whatnot? On my wifes its a pain in the arse...

My mom has a 2008 envoy and it's a very nice ride. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Almost makes me want to get an SUV over a truck but I just can't give up having a bed. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

On a similar note, my s-10 seems to be dying as well. Somethings fishy about it and I just don't know what. Somehow it keeps making it to shows 3+ hours away without incident though.
