Did allot of playing around and came up with the config of my system today...

Amps and enclosure will all be recessed into the floor of the car "everything flush with the floor" except the two side subs. Center sub and amp will be protected by a custom designed laser cut piece of plexi. Will be pretty hot when it is done... Hopefully can start cutting in the next two weeks when I can buy my table saw...

The A7 is HUGE!!!! Man I love this amp... pure ***! Here is a pic of it alone in the hatch....

sweet, I may drop it just enough that the top of the amp is level with the bar so you see both perfectly. Will have to see how it all plays out! But that is the general layout of the rear...

I probably should keep it out from under anything and float it, after all it will be running at 1 ohm on the sub channel... will get toasty being all class a/b...

I will probably have to recess it into the floor a bit and make it float as I do not want it higher up than the strut tower brace... I held the camera up high to get the pic, from a normal view it covers the brace allot right now... I have a sweet plan to make it look right hehehe.

I think I may float it about 4" from the floor with a mirror under it to see the guts... going to have to toy around with the idea... or not... all the wires being on the front would probably cover it to much to see the guts in the mirror...

yo, im getting two A5's when i save up the monies.

try this, turn the amp round so the wires face the seat, then take the DLS emblem off with some allen wrench, and turn it round so its facing the right direction. that way you can hide your wires like woah, float your amp up off the floor, move your center sub so its "under it" like 2 inches and the side subs will be back closer to the tailgate in sort of an upside down V pattern.

eaither way, awesome setup, i guarantee those subs would sound so much better in an infinite baffle.

does your car have one of those "hatch area covers" that fold up when you open the tailgate? could you beef that thing up with some MDF under it and maybe stronger lifting ties, and just have the three subs in that baffle? because it will be sealed enough just by doing that.

just some ideas //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
