x2.was just gonna say something similar to thathw to fix surronds take a piece of thin fabric like button up dress shirt material and apply a thin layer of goop to it and stick it under the surrond.
the box ur gonna have to grind what is there smooth and add another baffle...

ya i figured i would screw first one down then second and use some sort of silcone around the edges not the prettest but hope fully will work and will it higher or lower the tuning?its going to change your tuning a little bit, the basket is going to take up less space with a double baffle. just make sure the new baffle is flat against the box and use wood glue and clamp or maybe screw the second baffle on.
