I find it hilarious that whenever something along these lines happens during a transaction, something goes wrong- their phone stops working, they suddenly decide to move to Madagascar and are just really tied up with packing their beloved ***** collection, someone kicked their dog, their 6th cousin is in the hospital with the flu and they've been spending countless hours caring for them, etc.
When did he tell you he shipped the subs out?
Doesn't matter if YOU think it's justified or not. The courts have an odd way of figuring what is "reasonable". Don't ever ASSUME.
Lets say you called him while he was driving and he crashed. Now he has records that prove you called him 50 times that same day. Who is going to sue who now? Would that look like harassment in the courts eyes if he brought a lawsuit against you blaming you for the accident? Extreme example? Yes. But remember, in America you can pour hot coffee on yourself and blame it on the company that sold you the coffee. And win.
I find it odd that a collection agency or salesman (no call list) has laws to follow and you don't.
Before you go playing Perry Mason I suggest you get some legal advice from someone qualified to give it. Which, by the way, is not me nor probably anyone else on this forum.
For the record, I think the guy should be horse whipped but thats why I'll never get elected to public office.

they were sent out Monday of this week. a week or so after he had full payment that was cleared already.
last i talked to him on the phone he said
"i understand $1000 is a lot id feel the same way you do. i will get you the tracking number tonight when i get home"
which is exactly what he told me girl on monday

payment was sent on Sept 10th for 2. he said since i was buying 4 he wanted to ship them all together so we paid for the other 2 Sept 11th.
he has his money i should have my subs.
thats more than enough time to ship 800 miles

if you can get it worked out it would be awsome. i dont want to have to deal with a legal mess. my life is stressful enough with military life.
Bones is a good guy and is not asking for anything unreasonable or for more than he deserves.
I have just recently purchased an amp from Bones and the transaction had a few speedbumps which were not his fault.
This is the way a transaction should be performed by the way.
I have not had time to verify operation yet since I am at work but I have ZERO doubt that it works or will be resolved to my satisfaction.
I sent Bones the payment. He confirmed my payment was received moments after payment sent and said he would produce a tracking number the next day. He provided the tracking number the next day as promised.
I tracked the package which was to arrive yesterday and FedEx screwed up and delivered it to the wrong address. To make matters worse, they didn't actually get a signature release and left the package on a doorstep somewhere.
I contacted Bones about this and he immediately contacted FedEx to find out what had taken place and called me back within 30 minutes. He told me what he was told and we discussed the options available to get this handled. We agreed to give it a couple days to see what happens.
Bones even went as far to offer me another similar amp that would cost him more out of pocket if the amp he shipped was permanently lost with no additional cost to me- I don't know many people who would do this.
The good news is that since we decided to give it a few days to see if FedEx could recover the amp, the amp was found and delivered to me this morning.
I have nothing but praise for a job well done by Bones.

I take into consideration what Bones may have had to do with his purchase. What if they were to complete a setup he was being paid a lot of money for? The actions of the seller could be impeding his progress. Put yourself in his shoes and if you had a grand tied up with a person that was not communicating you would feel the same way as well. Regardless of his rep on here, it's a grand. And a call with a tracking number is all the guy is asking for? No need to get the courts involved just yet, but having the seller just not respond to calls or inquiries is a cause for concern.
