Thermally quite a bit as I'm using a Nightshade 8-layer coil + the pole plug. Mechanically it was softened up a bit for a Low Fs -- I'd call it 1000 RMS mechanically or so.

Looks good Jacob. Sounds like thermal compression shouldn't be a big problem with that massive coil and the soft parts being easy to drive. Parameters stay put so to speak and the driver sounds good at any power level. I'm thinking the BL should be above 20, any ballpark on the sensitivity?

speaking of tc9 motors haha. here is my lil fun project.... camera phone FTL

black tc9 motor on an 18" basket. going to be getting a re-cone from David next week.

basket will be painted a dark red

edit: haha 4 got i plan on giving it around 1200-1300 daily. we will c! lol

They were some sort of over-stock or prototype "Orion HCCA" drivers.

I bought several at that time.

I broke it in for 2 minutes or so to measure specs. It will break in quite a bit more over time - I predict the Fs will hit the high 20s and Qts will get at or near 0.40 or so.

Very nice numbers. I was surprised by the low compliance number, I wasn't expecting it to be so stiff. You were probably shooting for a small Vas though I assume. I'll bet that's going to sound great.
