Tc10 Oem

they are nice subs, dont need a big box at all. not many people have heard them cause they have never been made b4. I heard one while i was down at TC.

Havent heard then, but those are the coolest subs i ever seen. Enjoy yours and we'll wait for the review
might be a while. sending my head unit back to eclipse for service. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I ordered four of them to experiment with... well, two of them anyway. One is getting sent to Switzerland for a friend's brother and one is going in a boat. The other two I will be playing with and eventually selling locally in a sub / box combo.

I want one SOOOOOOOO bad, but the box I have is 1.4 cubes...too big for one ported //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif Pissed me right off! And I had to make the box that big since the mountind depth of these subs is 9"s!

go easy on him, hes a noob.

"I talked to one of the folks there at TC sounds yesterday and they gave me the actual specs for the driver. Mounting depth is 7.5 inches (allow at least an extra 1/4" for venting) and displacement is .05 ft3 Hope that helps everyone!``

I have the TC12 OEM, truly a low end monster...

If only they made all their drivers look that good... This 10 OEM seems to be built specifically for that IS-101 thing they are doing with the 10" PR. It'll do fine sealed, but most of you CA.com guys will wanna throw this beast in a low tuned slot ported box when Kyle specifically said that you should use PRs with it unless you want peaky SPL-like bass. Some of you might wanna check into that before making all these plans for a driver that doesn't fit your application well. Or you can just ignore this and buy it because it looks cool.

A ported box will require an extremely long port to work well, which is what Kyle means by his statement -- in that the port will take up more volume than the box itself when tuned properly. If you are okay with that... you can go ahead with it, but it does sort of defeat the purpose of the TC 10 OEM small box design //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
