It's on it's way to my door as we speak. I haven't been this excited about a sub since I got a Fi Q 12 for Christmas a few years back. I'm ready to annihilate the lows once again.
For those of you that don't know, I owned a Q with 1400 rms before I left car audio for a few years. Eventually I found myself building my way up to a killer setup again. First I owned a 12 IA 187 with 500rms in a sealed box. Then I stepped up to a Fi SSD 12 tuned at 24hz with the same amp. Wow did it get loud down low (sub 35hz). I couldn't get enough of the lows that did nothing but shake my interior. But I still wanted more. More cone area. The MX-3 had the room so I "upgraded" to a DC Level 3 15. Unfortunately, the sub was a complete disappointment. It was so loud around 45-55hz but the notes below 30hz were barely audible.
At that point I realized it was time to get back into the game with a system pushing 1500rms. My goal is to push 20-30hz notes like nobody's business and remain flat and muscial. I did some research and decided to go with a TC Sounds LMS-R 15.
I'm dropping it in a 4 cube box at 24hz since I loved my SSD in a box tuned at the same freq.
Stay tuned for pics and vids of this beast in action.
Thanks for reading.
