TC SOunds HAS LOS T THERE MINDS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Five years from now we all will have a laugh about the price increase.

Or five years from now we will laugh at the massive JL vs TC Sounds threads.

Either way it's going to change concerning TC.

Although, I remember reading a thread a while back about someone visiting TC sounds, and they said their experimenting with bamboo enclosures.. Was I dreaming.? Or was it another forum?

The bamboo enclosures looks very nice in person you can see the quality of the product.

I'm gonna be rich in a couple of months with alll the TC sub's that I have. lol

I didn't get a chance to listen to the IS-101's last time I was out there. I'll try to remember next time.

MOVE OVER OVERPRICED W7 HERE COMES THE NEW CHAMPION!!! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/ready2go.gif.6557fa3d88b9eaca9c7b8efb9cbd02ed.gif :readytog: //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/ready2go.gif.6557fa3d88b9eaca9c7b8efb9cbd02ed.gif :readytog: //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/ready2go.gif.6557fa3d88b9eaca9c7b8efb9cbd02ed.gif :readytog:

Sexy indeed, but still an infamously high pricetag. Good to know that's a hole in the side and not a big fackin knot. Anyone know the origins of this bamboo composite?

$849 plus $55 for shipping is way too much for that sub!
Remember, it is PASSIVE, you are only getting a 10" sub in a small box and you still need to power it. Yes the box is made of "Bamboo" which sounds expensive I suppose, but even if that was worth $250 you are still paying $600 for a 10" sub!

If it included a 1000 watt amp then it would be reasonable, but as a passive sub it is way overpriced.

TC isnt know in the "high-end" home theater market and who would pay that much for something where they could get twice the output for less money.
I am not saying its the greatest deal in the world. I would not spend that but a lot of other people will. I was just comparing to some off the other high-end stuff. Thiel $2,900 to $3,300 for 1 10" w/built-in 500 watt amp. These are the same people that can drop $10,000+ on just the receiver, amp, pre-amp. They also drop $5000+ just on mains. I am not saying most of us everyday guys can drop $25,000 to $50,000 on our home set-up. When you drop that kind of cash $900 for a passive sub is nothing. Spending another $1,000 to the guys for an amp is no big deal. Not like to many of us if any will ever own a $30,000 set of Swans or Marantz Ref. series at $31,000. Hell put that together for $61,000 and still need to buy a TV and DVD player to go with it. For most of the average everyday car audio guys dropping a $1,000 usually takes some thought and consideration. For the high-end home folks $1,000 is like buying a half decent CD player.

I see it the same way you do Scoobydoo. I would rather have the Parts Express 15" Titanic MKIII plat amp and enclosure special for $610.00 shipped.
