The kicker zx has a ton of power but it does run extremely hot (without issues). Grab a 3000d and run it .5, with impedence rise it'll go up to nearly 1ohm anyway.

So someone told you not to run multiple amps strapped because if one goes bad, the other will too? How is that worse than having one larger amp that, if it goes bad, the whole thing goes bad?
