TC-5200 What Amps?

Ok i picked up a 15'' TC-5200, now my plan was to run 2 Sundown 1500's strapped to it, but i herd its not good to run amps strapped.. so was thinking wat you guys think i should power this badboy with? I was also considering a Kicker ZX2500.1 or maybe 2 pairs of solid 1500.1 amps to each pair of coils.. let me know what you guys think thanks..

Edit: the kicker should be a good amp for it also, only thing is i heard the kicker runs rather warm. And who said it's not good to run amp strapped?

yeah i have never in any install ive done or my own had any problems with running two amps to 1 sub

as long as the amp is made to be strapped (I believe the sundown is) then you shouldn't have problems. Only thing is that it takes up more space than just one big amp.

Well i herd from SOMEONE its not good and you have alot of problems cuz if anything bad goes thru the master and doesnt stop it and goes into slave im ****ed... anyone here run strapped with no probs? on a daily setup

who is this some one,and they would make them strappable if they couldn't. that's y they also made a maxxlink to strap amps that aren't strappable. who ever said this need to come out and explain in detail why it isnt a good idea

make sure you run every single wires correctly, no stripped wires touching bare metal etc. Also make sure no speaker wires get grounded onto the chassis. Set your gain accordingly, placement of the amp is also important as far as heating is concerned. And don't bolt it down to any metal. I'm sure there are more things, but that's just off the top of my head.
