TC 3000 Top Assembly

anyone know how to take this **** thing off. im trying to figure iut out i tryed twisting and pulling with no luck. need it off so i ccan send it to thilo and kyle for my replacement

It should just pop right off. Try playing it for a minute and try again.

Are you talking about the whole top assembly? You should just be able to unscrew the 4 screws and it should come right off.

Sorry, mine came off easily. Did you try hooking it up to low wattage and playing it for a few seconds, I don't think it would hurt the motor.

pop the mesh out, its just glued in

there are bolts holding the basket down to the motor, just like how a normal sub is screwed into the motor. You might need to buy a tool to fit inside there to get it off since there is not very much clearance

the whole time ive owned the sub it never had the bolds that are missing

screwed in from the base of the horizontal part of the basket to the horizontal part of the top plate. not in the sides where you would think it would make sense.

you eaither need to rip the cone off, or pop the mesh covers off and the bolts will be under the spider(s) between the top plate, and the spiders, through the base of the basket.

yea talked to supa and i can see them, kinda sux TC makes it sound like i can just change them real fast and easy, guess if this is the case i cant switch back and forth fomr 12 to 15 and back with just having various assemlys
