i was thinking 3.5cb@35hrtz. its gonna be fed off either 2 Crunch GP2500D or 2 Hifonics BXi 1606D depending on my upcoming paychecks.

from what I have heard, the 3k's pound the lows so why not tune lower? And imo 3.5 cubes might be kinda small, though I do not have any first hand exoerience with the 3k subs, just 15''s in general,

yeah the tear it up with the lows i was thinking 3.5@30 but am still undecided seing i havent bought the mdf yet.

any bigger might be a tad bit big for this sub unless sealed

Ran beautiful in my setup in the sig. I would tune no higher than 33 hertz personally, and the 3.5 cubes should be fine for the 3k. Wish I had room for a bigger box when I had mine. I had my 15 in a 3.5@32hz with 60sq.in of port area an it did really well. Pounded out the lows an was nice an tight an punchy. IMO when i was 3.8 cubes an up it started to sound muddy.

dick nose i didnt get too much input. i wanted suggestions on my box to see if anyone had ran with this sub b4 and what they had it in to give me ideas.
