Everything came in tuesday, except the sub. They accidently shipped my a tweeter and then said we could keep it free of charge; retails at like $22! But anyways...heres some prebuild pics fo the equipment. Box will be constructed sunday/monday...pics to accompany with news...here it all is...

Hmm....what could it all be?

The free tweeter...

The almost infamous TB8 in all its glory...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/bowdown.gif.b85b23b82970bd22fb6b549c3392f016.gif

Dayton 100W plate amp...

And on loan from our next door neighbor "American Router Magazine" is this Skill 2hp router...wish me luck...

Off the bat I'd like to thank Lemans for his help on the box...I have high hopes for this little get-up...

P.S. the pics are off my camera phone...my digi is dead...

That router is a POS btw //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I had one, and i fried it cutting the circle for my Titantic box //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

***UPDATE***

All the wood was cut today...First I couldnt set my saw table up correctly to allow for a straight cut; no matter what, it was crooked. Then I broke the table saw alltogether and had to borrow a neighbors, and then lost my router jig so had to resort to a jigsaw and a double baffle up front. Pics will be added tomorrow if nothing else goes wrong....what a shitty start for a first build, but it is fun.

***ITS DONE***

Well, I finished it monday night 5mins before I had to leave to go back to school...here she is back at the dorm...i dont think i did too shabby...definitly learned a number of things. But nothin is ever easy, just like hooking up this **** thing. I learned my "sub out" isnt an out, its an in...so i have to buy a line-out convertor...Originally, this receiver shipped as a theatre in a box.

And thats all she wrote...i'll give an update when shes completly hooked up....

That sub begs for inverted mounting under a Sonotube - tres uglee //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I bet it'll be a huge improvement over the "computer speakers" that seem to be so common in the dorms. A guy that lived across the hall used to be so impressed with his Logitech something or other, until he heard my Rava at full tilt //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

LOL, at least you don’t live next to me lol. I can hit mid 120's easy in the dorms lol. My neighbors HATE me. But I don’t care sometimes the B&W’s just wanna get up and run.
I didn't realize you had that setup in a dorm //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Braver than I am.

When I had my Decware Zen, I didn't even think about bringing it up with me...but now, I've got my apartment and I can use floorstanding towers again //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
