TarampsTS400x4 input voltage

Does anyone know if the Taramps 400x5 would accept speaker level input via an RCA adapted speaker wire, or should I use a line out converter?

My sons head unit only has one set of pre outs

Line out converter or y-splitter.

You can also use a Xover or a Pre-amp EQ
