Taramps smart 5 going into protect

i know this is old, but i have a bass 5k and under 10 it does throw into protect.. i have 2 xs power batteries and dual 0 from front batt all the way into the amp and it drops in the 9.5 range and then boom protect upgrading alt in the next 2 weeks she's hungry at 1ohm

The alt should help...I'd quit running it until then. Those amps really don't like low voltage

Agreed, I would keep the volume down till you get your voltage up. You are abusing the crap out of amplifier and risking damaging it.
