BMW leases are much different than the rest of the market in the way they residuals and money factors work. They're usually heavily subsidized compared to the rest of the market so that people will lease and BMW can sell them as CPO cars when they are turned in. There are many benefits to leasing and you can always pay off the car loan and get the title for yourself if you decide to do that later on. Like I said, your best bet is probably finding a loaded car the way you want on a BMW forum, offering to take over the lease with them paying you a cash incentive, and then doing what you please from there. You can learn A LOT about how these BMW deals work and what a "good deal" is from the BMW forums. Trust me, I did research for months before someone hit my car and screwed me over on the BMW. Whatever you do, DO NOT go to the dealership to talk price and options. You'll get nowhere near the deal you could with a little research on the BMW forums beforehand. There are also many forum-supported dealers on there that offer fair deals and great service.
