Talk me into or out of going sealed

To be honest, I love the box they are in, however it's quite a bit bigger than I would like, and has pretty much no output above 50hz. It sure does hit the low notes nicely though. It's also too big for my tastes in the trunk. The way the opening for the trunk is, it had to be built to where it sticks out too much, and there's really nothing I can do to make it look better. I made some trim panels for it, but it still sticks out from them quite a bit. I have 10 yards of vinyl waiting to redo the entire trunk when I decide which box I like, so I'm trying to get it right so that I can actually get it looking great.

id lookin into doing some sort of other design

maybe a rear horn, or Snailshell or some type of modified TL.

ive had a snailshell and a rearhorn. both had wild SQ and SPL.

Is that box 4cubes net or gross? how deep is it?

I was gonna say 4 cubes sounds pretty big for a single 12, but that doesnt look like 4 cubes net.

I would, but my trunk opening makes it hard, plus I'm not that great at designing stuff. If I could get ahold of some plans that would fit in my car, I'd be down to build one.

I was gonna say 4 cubes sounds pretty big for a single 12, but that doesnt look like 4 cubes net.

it's actually 3.73 net, the box is pretty deep, it's deeper than it looks in the picture. It's actually 26" deep.
