Taking all thoughts on a trade i was offered

Naw, no reason to have that. Just limit your build to a "stock" style class so under the window line in the back. I still have less room and only the trunk to work with..I will keep the rear seat fully functional but can lay it down for metering....sound fair?

The real question is battery and power limits.

I actually have a decent number on record for a single 15" in a box that's under the window line and allows rear seat to be upright.

I have 6K on tap and 3 large dekka batteries in the back. At the risk of getting in over my head I'd say no power/battery limit provided it can all fit into the cargo area and seats function if needed. I won't try to run way too few batteries on an amp because I'm sick of blowing up amps and certainly don't mind if you have adequate batteries for the safety of your amps.

I do feel that one of the benefit of better woofers is less compression once you get up to extreme power so I'd guess if you did have double my power on tap gain would be minimal for it. I could theoretically do less power by clamping and only rolling up to a certain ammout, but that removes a bit of accuracy and really I'm not sure how well anything I have would do on very low power due to 3" coils and somewhat stiff suspensions (where with say 500W limit I think for example 2" coil and soft suspension may have an edge)

 
Am I limited to only MA's lowerend? I have some HK subs and some EHO 12s they custom made me years ago..I could run 2 12s with a nice ported enclosure..if we are going for a burp I would consider an 8" flared port and around 10-15k since I would be in a trunk there are many things to over come, but mid to high 150 should be doable.

I was thinking more along the lines of the level that this thread is about (98% of MA lineup). The EHO subs look pretty solid stock and I suspect custom jobs have real potential.

Certainly got me beat for power by an easy double....
