Taking all thoughts on a trade i was offered

a friend just offered me 4 15 ma audio xl's and a box(i know the box is good, hes a good builder) for my 18 hdc3 & box. what do you guys think.

MA audio is junk. Fewer subs is where it's at in my opinion. Easier to tweak and cheaper to build for etc. Keep the AQ

I wouldn't go as far as saying MA Audio as a whole is junk. However, those subs mentioned are not on a list of things I would trade for.

i know ma audio aint junk. a guy has the same subs in mecca and wins his class like every year. and competes in out daily comps and does like

55+ @ his headrest

Immagine what kind of numbers he would put up with good equipment!

I would say if you did that trade sell the 4 MA subs on Craigslist and you're probably ahead. I wouldn't touch any MA Audio.

the guy that i was refuring to uses sundown 15s now. i think hes doing like 157 or 158 burp and 155+'s on music. i was just curious. i like my single sub setup. im bout to upgrade my alt to a 220a and then tweak to see what i can get out of my single 18. i should be able to get alteast a 150 out of it. i kno my electrical is killling me because my alt is really small.

Really assuming you have the space they will probably gain output over your single 18, but personally if I were going to sacrifice the space for 4 15's they sure as hell wouldn't be MA 15's.

he has a good point, with that much air space just get another 18 and youll blow the 4 15's outa the water
