Taking all thoughts on a trade i was offered

Wouldn't doubt it, Jon has only managed to put up a 47 so far //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/suave.gif.858fc102f7646e678ee8af7e1fbc41d1.gif
My woman was doing 148's out of a trunk with a single 12 haha...not MA but we could have swapped it out with an HK or something and still been around a 47.

The hate is strong with you good sir. I bet I can get louder with MA then you can with anything else....... just sayin... haha //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fro.gif.c695f1f814b01c4ad99fe7f8cccadd29.gif
Terms of that bet?

....So far this month. Been trying some new things and blowing up a lot of woofers.

You guys think if I switched to MA Audio subs I'd be breaking glass?

Never heard that particular model of ma subs but i have heard quite a few and used to own 1 of the older hk series and absolutely loved it.

I'm pretty open on the terms. I would think allowing you to use something a little easier to get loud would be far more far then suggesting we use similar cars.

I already have a slew of product left from MA Audio from when we were sponsored by them.

Wish you were local to me....

Of course herein lies the dilema. If our definition of loud is going to be purely an excercise of generating the highest intensity standing wave at the windsheild of a car (which really it would almost have to be since that's easily quantified), we come to the factor of vehicle accoustics which IMO is probably worth more than the type of equipment anyway. My jeep that's falling apart with cracks in the panels vs. your CRX with 5 layers of deadening and tight gaskets, or cement filled doors...... not saying that's what you have, but just illustrating a point with extreme example for the sake of illustration.

And really I think you would agree that this will be pimarily an excercise of who has more experience designing loud enclosures which I'd give to you hands down without a challenge.

All that being said, this still sounds like fun, what vehicle would you be using and how much reinforcement is in it?

I agree, that the car and experience plays the largest roll in it.

I could use a the wife's grand prix GT that is just sitting. I could build only in the trunk while you could use the area behind the rear seat? You would have the advantage car wise to be honest.

Cone area limits?

Lets not leave all the details out he wasn't just running four of those ma's he was running 8 of them in a walled minivan off 4-saz1500d's and was running them at .5 at 18volts
